Gettin' fresh … in Northern Nevada


Arugula is so much more than just a salad green.  It’s spicy, peppery crunch deserves special accomodation.

Ever since I saw the suggestion on the package that arugula goes well with a roast beef  sandwich, that’s all I have thought about eating.  I love sandwiches!

I found these ultra delicious soft pretzel rolls and have been eating these cute little sammies for days.


Om, nom, nom.  Get your hands on some arugula!

  1. I am a huge arugula lover myself. Actually decided to plant it in my garden…because it grows like a weed so I can ensure I will always have enough arugula to satisfy my cravings. I love that you put it on your sammies…I will definitely have to try this 🙂

  2. I love Arrugala too! I had never heard of it until I moved to Germany, where it seemed to be everywhere. I use it in salads of course, but it also goes great when tossed in (uncooked) with spaghetti & shrimp type dishes. Or just on top of the dish.
